Prepayment and Cancellation Policy :

  • Reservation Confirmation: A prepayment is required to secure a reservation with a private chef through our booking website.
  • Payment Amount: The prepayment amount of 30% is based on the total estimated cost of the chef’s services, including any additional charges such as VAT, equipment, or travel expenses.
  • Timing: The prepayment must be made at the time of booking to confirm the reservation. Failure to make the prepayment within the specified timeframe may result in the reservation being canceled.
  • Full Refund: If a cancellation is made more than 15 days prior to the scheduled chef service, the client will be eligible for a full refund of the prepayment amount.
  • Partial Refund: If a cancellation is made within 14 days of the scheduled chef service,  the client will be eligible for a 50% refund of the prepayed amount.
  • No Refund: If a cancellation is made within 7 days of the scheduled chef service, the client will not be eligible for a refund, and the full prepayment amount will be forfeited.
  • Final Guest Count Confirmation:
    The final number of guests must be confirmed no later than 72 hours prior to the scheduled event. This ensures adequate time for ingredient sourcing, preparation, and staffing.

  • Reductions in Guest Count:
    Changes that reduce the number of guests within 72 hours of the event will not result in a reduction in the total cost. All purchases and preparations are finalized based on the confirmed guest count at that time, and no refunds or credits can be issued for no-shows or last-minute changes.

  • Increases in Guest Count:
    If you wish to increase the number of guests after confirming, we will do our best to accommodate you. However, any increases requested within 72 hours of the event are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

 
  • Alternate Arrangements: In the unlikely event that the private chef needs to cancel the reservation due to unforeseen circumstances such as illness or emergency, the company will make reasonable efforts to find a replacement chef or an alternative date.
 
  • Full Refund: If a replacement chef cannot be arranged full refund of the prepayment amount will be provided to the client
